BRiN: Bringing the World of Artificial Intelligence to Small Business Owners

CIO VendorDale Beaumont, CEO
With more than 10 years of experience in the field of business advisory, Dale Beaumont, CEO of BRiN, has personally trained over 100,000 people to achieve greater levels of personal and business success. But with a desire of doing more, Dale realized that the only way he could provide unlimited, specific, and scalable advice was if he could bring to life something that was, ‘non-human’. Considering the fact that there are over 500 million small to medium business owners (SMBs) out of which, over 50 million businesses fail each year, Dale decided to offer an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solution to business owners. AI is already playing an important role in an intelligent advancement of every industry by reducing costs and saving time. To offer business owners their own personal business advisor, BRiN, “the world’s first artificially intelligent business advisor” was created.

Conventional methods of one-to-one coaching, meet-ups, and live events are not enough to solve the problem of business owners and the hundreds of challenges they face. Tailored for this situation, BRiN, a smart-phone app, is capable of providing personalized education and human-like support to millions of entrepreneurs all at the same time, was established. The solution makes it possible to get unlimited and personal advice at any point of time. The product uses computer logic to chat with customers about their business. Now, the team behind BRiN is in the process of using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to add voice-commands to their user interface.

Plus, the company is also using Machine Learning (ML) to match user questions to their library of over 5,000 answers.

Next, to solve the problem of scaling business advice, BRiN has produced over 500 hours of fully-original TV-quality business education videos, based on topics such as Business Planning, Product Development, Branding & Design, Marketing & Advertising, Selling Skills, Website Building, Social Me-dia, People Management, Leadership, Personal Productivity, Finance & Cash flow, Legal Matters and Going Global. The solution is available on all Apple and Android devices. One of the many unique features is ‘LearnSwitch’, which allows users to seamlessly shift back and forth between Video and Audio modes at any point of time. In addition, features like the ability to choose streaming quality and the speed of content delivery, makes BRiN a highly user-friendly product.

Future Plans

In May 2017, the company will release their AI-powered business advisor, where the customer will be able to talk to BRiN and get an instant answer to more than 5,000 business questions. Once in place, the team will start working on the technology to link BRiN through API to other SaaS appli-cations like Salesforce, MailChimp, QuickBooks, Google Analytics, and others. Once in place, the system can alert the business owner to opportunities and threats faster than what any human advisor can.

“After achieving the title of “the world’s first artificially intelligent business advisor”, BRiN is focusing on accomplishing the title of “the world’s smartest business advisor”,” says Dale. With a belief that 2017- 2018 will totally move towards digital assistants, the company is now looking to partner with other larger companies to offer a suite of AI services that will address the needs of business owners globally.
