Kryon: Driving Businesses with RPA

CIO VendorHarel Tayeb, CEO
While deploying any new technology, it is imperative for organizations to have a robust implementation plan in place. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is no exception, and it brings both compelling benefits as well as implementation challenges. One company reinvigorating RPA deployment is Kryon, a firm committed to addressing the automation challenges of organizations by garnering in-depth knowledge of their business needs. Harel Tayeb, CEO at Kryon, mentions that even after recognizing the need for RPA, enterprises often face difficulty in determining exactly which business processes should be automated. Kryon offers a Process Discovery tool that enables its clients to gain comprehensive visibility and clarity into the processes that drive their business. Its AI-powered analytics tool identifies the business processes which when automated can drive significant value and renders actionable insights to organizations for supplementing process execution and productivity.

“With our Kryon platform, we enable our clients to optimize the RPA process workflow and eliminate error-prone and time-consuming manual processes,” says Harel. Powered by patented AI technology including machine learning, image recognition, and advanced IMR and OCR capabilities, the platform can be deployed on any application be it Citrix, web-based, or any legacy systems. The Kryon platform has four distinct components. The first, Kryon Admin, allows companies to build separate working environments and create virtual teams along with managing user roles and permissions within each team.
Next is Kryon Studio that enables users to record, edit, and develop automation process workflows in a span of few hours, without necessarily being an adept programmer. Once created, the workflow is saved on a server (on premise or on cloud) and becomes available for execution by robots on virtual machines or employees’ desktop. The Studio tool continually updates the workflows that assist organizations to set up and start running without investing much time.

The Kryon platform also has a web-based management and monitoring dashboard called Kryon Console that allows users to configure, schedule, and manage the virtual workforce of Kryon Robots in real time. These robots are the last leg of the platform and they serve as a part of an organization’s virtual workforce and can execute repetitive tasks with high accuracy and agility. They collect information about a process’s performance which can further help to identify productivity gaps and afford necessary measures.

The firm primarily offers three core automation solutions called Unattended Automation, Attended Automation, and Hybrid Automation. The Unattended Automation works on virtual machines and enables users to create a virtual workforce consisting of software robots. With this offering, an organization can offload time-consuming process to a virtual team enabling people to focus their time and energy to the core business. Next, the Attended Automation augments the capability of human workforce and enables users to perform specific tasks directly from desktops. Lastly, Kryon’s unique Hybrid Automation combines human workforce with robots and allows them to share tasksback and forth with full visibility. “The result is a 360-degree RPA solution that blends robot intelligence and flexibility with human creativity,” Harel adds.

Harel shares a client’s story that provides an overall picture of the benefits Kryon brings. In this case, Microsoft turned to Kryon’s Unattended Automation solution to automate their game developer royalty payout process, integrating Kryon RPA with the current business applications and tools used in the process. The result: It took Kryon Robots 2.5 hours to complete 150 statements versus 50 hours when done manually–that’s a staggering 2000 percent of time optimization.
Currently, the firm has its bases in Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Singapore, and the US and has recently opened regional offices in India. Harel concludes, “The upcoming launch of our unique Process Discovery tool is set to disrupt the RPA industry by delivering a solution that enables companies to expand the reach of RPA farther than ever before across the organization, in less time and at significantly lower cost.”
